From May 2026, this update will allow the maximum motor torque to be increased from 100 Nm to 120 Nm on any 5th-generation Bosch CX or CX-R motor, as well as increasing the maximum pedal assistance from 400% to up to 600%.

Prime X is built using the same high-performance Stealth Alloy technology as the off-road capable Prime but the frame has been modified with features to include aluminium racks, kickstand, front and rear, integrated lights and mudguards specifically for urban environments and the demands of city riding.

BOSCH CX GEN 5 SMART SYSTEM
All Prime models are constructed around the Bosch CX Gen 5 Smart System motor and paired with a full 800 Wh e-bike battery, allowing you to ride further than ever before. Want to keep the adventure going beyond city limits? You can with the addition of a 250 Wh Bosch PowerMore range extender (available separately), which gives you the ability to get more miles or more time between charges.
And speaking of charges, once home, the removable 800 Wh battery can easily be taken off the bike for charging and storage, or to swap with a second battery.
Thanks to 120 mm suspension travel up front, powerful hydraulic brakes and durable component choices throughout the range, the Prime gives you confidence over demanding terrain or when riding conditions are less than ideal.
NEW 5-SIZE CONCEPT
With the introduction of the ML size, riders can select from 5 sizes (S, M, ML, L, and XL) to benefit from the optimised fit and frame geometry.
More sizes and smaller gaps between them allow each rider to choose the bike that best fits their physical characteristics, terrain and riding preferences.
