NOVÉ MĚSTO OPENS THE 2023 CROSS COUNTRY WORLD CUP SEASON


Train as you mean to compete. Train to win. Compete to win. After months of racking up kilometres, races and hours on their Mondrakers, the PRIMAFLOR-MONDRAKER-GENUINS riders are on point for the opening round of the 2023 XC World Cup season in Nové Město, Czech Republic. The time has come.

Nové Město is hosting the first round of the 2023 Cross Country World Cup season this weekend, in both Olympic (XCO) and Short Track (XCC) disciplines. The first of eight rounds this year, it will be followed by races in Lenzerheide, Leogang, Val di Sole, Vallnord, Les Gets, Snowshoe and Mont-Sainte-Anne.

NOVÉ MĚSTO 2023

Nové Město will feature XC Short Track (Under-23 and Elite), Olympic XC (Junior, Under-23 and Elite) and Marathon Elite events. The PRIMAFLOR-MONDRAKER-GENUINS will be there with Ondrêj Cink and Bec Henderson competing in the Elite category and Francesc Barber in the Under-23. Marta Cano (currently leader of her UCI Junior Series category) will be racing in Nové Město as part of the Spanish national team.

Races will be taking place on two tracks of just over 1km for the XCC, and another just under 3.8km long track for the XCO where the F-PODIUM CARBON DC RRs will be put through the wringer.

The World Cup is back. The best XC show on earth is back.

Coverage

With the start of the new season, the Warner Bros-Discovery group's World Cup coverage also kicks off. This year, the audiovisual giant will be in charge of offering live coverage of the best mountain bike competition, extending production to the men's and women's U23 XCO races. All the races can be followed on Eurosport, GCN, Discovery + and their respective digital platforms.
