TQ HPR60 MOTOR

THE MOTOR THAT GETS OUT OF THE WAY.

There are motors that push you. And then there’s the TQ HPR60, which simply rides alongside you.

At the heart of the new Dusty is TQ’s Harmonic Pin-Ring— a radical departure from conventional motor design that eliminates the friction and mechanical drag that plague other systems. Instead of a complex stack of gears bleeding power through each interface, the HPR60’s Harmonic Pin-Ring transmits force through a double tooth ring where multiple teeth engage simultaneously, achieving maximum surface pressure with minimum moving parts.

The result is direct, loss-free power transmission that lets the motor operate at far lower rotational speeds — quieter, smoother, and dramatically more efficient than anything else in its class.

MOTOR TQ HPR60

The result is direct, loss-free power transmission that lets the motor operate at far lower rotational speeds — quieter, smoother, and dramatically more efficient than anything else in its class.

What does this mean on the ride?

It means that when the HPR60 cuts assistance at 25 km/h, you don’t feel it. There’s no sudden wall, no sensation of dragging dead weight.

The motor disappears — and the bike simply keeps rolling, as naturally as if it were unpowered. Combined with the fact that both motor and battery are centrally positioned and perfectly balanced within the frame, weight distribution is optimized in a way that makes the Dusty feel lighter and more nimble than the numbers suggest. This is a bike that enhances your ride. It never hijacks it.

With 60 Nm of torque, 350 W of peak power, and up to 200% assistance, the HPR60 has all the power you’ll ever need — delivered exactly when you need it, in a package that weighs just 1.924 g and fits so neatly inside the Dusty’s architecture that you’d barely know it’s there.

THREE MODES. ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES.

The new Dusty runs on three fully customizable assistance levels, tuneable to your preferences via the TQ E-Bike App. After extensive real-world testing on the bike, the modes were calibrated specifically for the all-round riding style — designed to keep battery consumption low across everyday riding while unleashing full power when the terrain demands it.

• ECO: 102 W / 90% assistance*. The everyday mode. Efficient, smooth, and perfect for flatter terrain and longer adventures where you want to stretch every watt-hour to its limit.

• MID: 175 W / 125% assistance*. The all-day sweet spot. Enough power to take on rolling terrain and longer climbs without burning through your battery before lunch.

• HIGH: 350 W / 160% assistance*. Full send. Maximum peak power for steep climbs, technical sections, or those days when you just want the ride to be pure, reactive fun.

TQ HPR50 MOTOR

COMPACT, LIGHT AND SILENT

NATURAL FEEL TQ-HPR50 SYSTEM

The TQ-HPR50 system comprises a very compact motor which we’ll talk about later on, a 360Wh removable internal battery located in the downtube, a 2” display fitted into the top tube and an optional 160Wh range extender. The whole system weighs in at 3.9Kg, 1850g the motor and 1830g the 360Wh battery. The optional TQ range extender weighs 950g.

COMPACT, LIGHT AND SILENT

TQ HPR50 MOTOR

Unlike the vast majority of ebike motors on the market the TQ-HPR50 uses a proprietary drive system dubbed the “TQ Harmonic Pin-Ring”. Its revolutionary technology does away with the belts and cogs present in other designs, thus ensuring greater reliability and lower noise. The mechanisms within reduce friction to negligible levels ensuring a pedalling sensation very similar to that of a conventional MTB drivetrain while also resulting in it being the quietest motor on the market today.

ONE APP, INFINITE POSSIBILITIES

The scope of adjustment available to fine-tune the parameters of the TQ-HPR50 motor is one of the characteristics that best fits our philosophy here at Mondraker. Via the TQ E-Bike smartphone app and Bluetooth connection you can control all the parameters of the motor to an almost limitless extent.

There are 3 modes available to let you quickly flick through the different levels of assistance provided by the motor: ECO, MID and HIGH. Within each of these modes you have a further 3 parameters which can be individually adjusted via the app: Max power, Assistance, and Pedal Response.
