Full name is Oliver but prefer to be called Oli
Where did you grow up, and how has your hometown shaped who you are?
I grew up in a small country town called Methven in Canterbury, New Zealand. I think growing up on farms is where I found my love for the outdoors.
Is there a personal mantra or philosophy you live by?
What goes around, Comes around!
How would you describe your riding style in three words?
Fast, loose, aggressive
Do you have a favourite trail or terrain? What makes it special to you?
Natural riding as that’s what I grew up riding
What do you love most about the MTB culture and community?
That everyone is willing to help no matter what
Who are some of your biggest inspirations, either inside or outside the biking world?
I’d say Loic as he is one of the most professional racers and one of the best ambassadors for the sport!

Do you have any personal heroes or role models growing up?
My Dad is my biggest role model, he always worked super hard to provide for us and help us no matter what we wanted to do!
What’s a personal story or achievement in your life (on or off the bike) that you’re most proud of?
Making a career out of somthing I love doing!
Looking ahead, what’s one goal you have for your riding career or personal life?
Just keep progressing as a rider and person!
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Just have fun and keep enjoying want you do!
When you’re not riding, how do you like to spend your time?
Hunting, Spearfishing, Motorbiking, Camping and spending time with mates!
Do you have a favourite destination for vacations or trips?
I love been in the mountains, hunting where there is no one else.
If you had a free weekend to do anything, how would you spend it?
Get away from everyone and go bush
If you could design your dream bike, what would it look like?
Old school
If you weren’t a pro rider, is there another career that you think you’d pursue?
I think i’d be still trying to pursue another sport or something similar.
