You never forget the first time you rode a bike, just like you’ll never forget that first time you rode a Mondraker. That feeling you got from those first pedal strokes is indelible. The new Trick range, available in 16”, 20”, 24” and 26” sizes, will start a relationship with Mondraker that we’re sure will last you a lifetime.

The new Trick rewrites everything compared to the old Leader, as this year brings a fresh new frame design with a design language clearly influenced by our high-end adult bikes. Minimalistic frame tubes, straighter lines, and details such as the top tube flowing into the seat stays in an almost straight line, and nothing says ‘Mondraker’ more than the ‘window’ between the top tube, the down tube and the headtube now featured on the Trick too.

All the frames are made from Alloy Stealth Evo and our Forward Geometry has been 100% tweaked to best suit kids’ needs. Internally guided cable routing is featured, as is 12x142mm rear hub spacing, a UDH mech hanger and 2.4” tyres. This tyre width is fundamental as it makes a huge difference to the grip available on tricky terrain, thus increasing confidence, and allows for lower tyre pressures in general to aid with comfort and control.

The new Trick, which takes the reigns from the Leader, does so with an all-new frame, new specs and several different models to cover all the ages with wheel sizes from 16” through to 26”. The 16” wheeled bikes cover kids from 4–6 years old, 20” wheels are for kids from 6–8, 24” wheels then cover our 8-11-year-olds and 26” wheels round things off for the 10-14-year-olds. A sizing chart for all of our kids range is available on our website.
