It’s hard to pick a favourite, isn’t it! The thrill of a Crafty Carbon isn’t just about the power, travel or range. No one’s denying this lineup is a true statement of performance: Bosch CX Gen5 motor, a removable 800Wh battery, and now a seamlessly integrated Kiox 400 display flush-mounted in the top tube. But don’t forget the colours! Because each one tells a different story.
Our paint department stopped naming colours just for the sake of it a long time ago. These days every Crafty Carbon gets a paint job to match its personality. Each shade has a character all its own: Atomic Orange, Chilli Red, Vortex Grey, and many more that are now part of the latest Crafty Carbon collection across the S, R and RR builds.
The ultimate enduro bike in our full power mountain bike category, it comes with 29” wheels and 160/150mm of travel. The new Crafty Carbon range is available in 5 different builds, all with a carbon fibre frame guaranteeing versatility and endurance on the harshest of terrains. Crafty Carbon also incorporates the very latest edition of the Zero Suspension System and a flip chip on the lower shock mount as well as two different swingarm lengths depending on frame size: 455mm (S, M, ML) and 465mm (L and XL).
Our reference e-Bike would hardly be complete without the latest evolution of the Bosch CX motor. 100g lighter and smaller thanks to a more refined design architecture, the motor offers the same 85Nm of torque and 600W max power as before but with far better power delivery and control compared to previous models. Quieter overall when pedalling, mechanical rattles when riding downhill have also been eliminated so that you can ride faster and more discreetly than ever before.
We’ve even optimized the size ranges. The new Crafty Carbon comes with optimised kinematics on the Zero Suspension System as well as the Forward Geometry, and with the addition of an intermediate ML size there are now 5 sizes to choose from. With this additional size, we’ve made the whole range more adaptable to an even wider range of body types so that there’s always a bike that’s right for you, a bike that offers a near-perfect fit. We’ve also optimised the swingarm length depending on frame size to keep things proportional and maintain that Mondraker ‘feeling’ throughout, regardless of frame size.
