Summum is designed with a mullet 29” front 27.5” rear wheel set up, so we do not recommend any other combination due to the geometric and kinematic implications this would have.
Summum is designed with a mullet 29” front 27.5” rear wheel set up, so we do not recommend any other combination due to the geometric and kinematic implications this would have.
No, Summum
is only compatible with rear hubs measuring 12 x 157 mm.
In this model you can fit up to 220mm rotors front and rear.
The Summum is compatible with front tyres up to 2.6‘: 29 x 2.6’ and rear tyres up to 27.5 x 2.6" (66 mm wide).
Geometry kit is included on all Summum MY26 models onwards and also included on the individual frame-kit.
The kit included with the bicycle and the frameset consists of the following parts:
- Two sets of headset cups for REACH adjust: +5 mm / 0 / - 5 mm
- Eccentric flip-chip to adjust the shock positions
- Two extra dropouts to modify the chain stay length: +5 mm / - 5 mm
With this kit you can easily customise the set up to your preferences or adapt it to the terrain at any time.
To change the position on the flip-chip, simply swap it for the other eccentric flip-chip included in the geometry kit, using the lower shock bolt. With these parts and their offset options you can switch to the HIGH or LOW geometry positions. The central bottom shock mount flip chip position comes fitted as standard.
The shock flip-chip has three positions, HIGH – STANDARD – LOW, allowing you to move the bottom bracket height by +5 mm/0/- 5 mm, which is the most notable change in terms of geometry. Along with this we will also modify the headtube angle by 0.35º (-0.35 on LOW position; +0.35º on HIGH position) and a slight variation in reach of 4 mm (-4 mm in the LOW position; +4 mm in the HIGH position).
The Summum model has been designed to fit most shocks on the market with the following specifications:
- Metric 225x75mm size
- Upper trunnion mount
- Lower bushing and hardware 30x8mm
Summum frame has been developed to be used with T-Type direct mount or UDH derailleur hanger mount derailleurs, so you can fit most rear derailleurs available on the market.
Summum has been developed for dual crown forks with 1-1/8” head tube. As a general rule, single crown forks usually feature tapered 1-1/8” – 1-1/2" tubes that are not compatible with the ARS (Adjustable Reach System) headset.
As this bike was developed for racing we believe many users will want to use some kind of telemetry system at the races, so there is already a position where it can be attached. That doesn't mean you can't mount a bottle cage to carry a water bottle or attach your spare parts on there for more adventurous days.
If you install the LONG + 5 mm, or the SHORT -5 mm dropouts you will also need to install the multi-position brake adapter so that the brake caliper and the rear wheel axle always have the same distance ratio.
The chain guide is ISCG 05 mount with short upper slide as there may be incompatibility if a long upper guide is used, as it might interfere with the frame.
Summum is a multi-adjustable model, so you can play around with the geometry kit to find multiple possibilities. In addition your skills and riding preferences will largely determine whether you’d go for a larger or smaller size (such as looking for more stability or playful handling... may determine whether you choose a larger or smaller size, as a example).
The ARS (Adjustable Reach System) has been designed to changing the headset cups quick and easy, so they can be installed and removed by hand. It is important to place both cups in the same reach position, both top and bottom.
Both Scree and Crafty Carbon are Mondraker’s most versatile eMTBs but each feature different intended use where frames, kinematics, geometry and suspension travel are different between both models. Scree is an all-new fully dedicated Trail model with 130mm rear wheel travel and 150mm front Stealth alloy frameset, while Crafty Carbon is an Enduro model with longer 150mm rear 160mm front travel featuring Stealth Air Carbon frameset. Both share Bosch Performance CX Gen 5 latest motor and either 600Wh or 800Wh batteries. Both families are available in 5 sizes with dedicated geometry for each one. Both spec the latest generation of Bosch’s Performance CX motor with up to 100Nm and 750W compatible with 800Wh and 600Wh batteries for the greatest riding experience.
Scree painted frame complete with hardware and accessories without rear shock in ML size is around 4,900 kg.
Powertube 800Wh is 3.990 grams and the new Powertube 600Wh is 3.070 grams and both feature the latest generation 21700 battery cells.
Scree is compatible with any inline shock and its kinematic design has been optimized to be ridden with inline shocks. You can also use piggyback style models such as Float X series or RockShox SuperDeluxe. For anything bigger in volume it’s mandatory checking before installing as they might not fit. Scree feature metric 165x45mm sized shocks with Trunnion upper mount and bottom 30x8 mm standard hardware.
Zero Suspension design and layout has been updated and improved following the latest performance evolutions seen on other latest generation Mondraker full suspension bikes, in this case, tailored for the most versatile Trail intended use. Scree feature a 20,5% progression rate, higher leverage ratio becoming more supple and sensitive off the top, feature a slightly lower anti-squat and anti-rise curves for a more capable and better overall performing rear suspension.
Scree is compatible with forks up to 160 mm travel or 580mm axle to crown.
Yes, Scree is compatible with larger rear brake rotors of 220mm. This is something we don’t really recommend, but it’s possible to fit them on the Crafty Carbon models.
Scree is compatible with tires up to 66mm wide which translate into 29”x 2.6” tires. It is recommended to measure the tire before installing as the real width might be different depending on the manufacturer.
You could technically ride a smaller 27,5” rear wheel but the bike has not been designed to ride a mullet setup and the motor would not offer the optimum performance as wheel diameter is altered. The smaller wheel circumference will affect the accuracy of the speed reading and cannot be adjusted. For example, switching to a 27.5 x 2.6” rear wheel and tire combination will reduce cut-off speed by about 1 or 2 km/h.. and probably with the magnet speed sensor on the rear smaller diameter wheel the motor might not work properly. Scree geometry will be compromised as well with angles changing -1.5º and bottom bracket dropping -13/-15mm and, more importantly, Mondraker does not cover the warranty riding anything different from the stock 29” rear wheel.
Yes, as on any of the latest Bosch’s motor systems, there is a Bosch Powermore 250Wh range extender “water-bottle” mount style. It weighs 1.450 grams or 1.525 grams including Bosch’s side-specific mounting bracket and connecting cable. You will enjoy longer range compared to the internal 600Wh (+40%) or 800Wh (+30%) Powertube batteries.
Bosch offers different sizes of the connecting cable for the Powermore range extender, you will need the 150mm length for all Scree models and bike sizes. Bosch part number is: BCH3923_150 / EB12.120.036. It’s also important to note that there exist 2 Powermore types that you have to consider depending on where you live: PowerMore, EU28,CH,NO,AUS,NZ (Bosch part number BBP3620 / EB12.100.05G) and US, CAN, KOR (Bosch part number BBP3625 / EB12.100.05H)
Yes you can. There are 2 possible locations for a water bottle cage, in the main frame, the standard position as on any other bike and below the top tube.
Yes you can. The new headset upper cup is ready to route the cables through it and run a completely internal guiding if you prefer it this way.
Yes. New Scree allow to easily remove the internal battery. It’s very simple just undo the top 5 mm allen bolt on the upper bottom side of the main tube and the battery will come off to charge it outside the bike, change it or simply cleaning or perform bike maintenance.
Yes. All Scree models allow to either run the Powertube 800Wh or the 600Wh batteries.
If your bike comes with one or the other, you can buy a spare one and fit it on your bike depending on your preferences. Make sure you also get the required adaptors (to fit both, the smaller sized 600Wh in case your bike comes stock with the 800Wh and the other way around as battery heights are different as so are the adaptors) to fit it properly inside.
Additionaly, you would want to buy an extra battery cover from your Mondraker dealer (this way you’d have 2 swappable ready to go batteries) or technically disassemble the stock one bolted into the stock battery and install it on the new one, but the foam inside between both 600 and 800 battery options is not the same either. Older and heavier 750Wh and 625Wh batteries could perfectly work on the new Scree models but Mondraker does not supply the adaptors required to fit them with these new frames. Bike would also work with the Powermore range extender and no internal battery but Bosch do not recommend it or the bike is intended to be ridden only with the range extender as its name suggests.
Nothing special. You can control the remaining battery life at the Kiox 400c display on the top tube. When there is 30% battery life remaining motor assistance will be slightly reduced which will be more noticeable when 10% battery left is reached. No special directions o considerations whatsoever.
Yes you technically can, you would need to buy the proper accessories and run the charging cable internally to the main battery to do so.
Yes, totally. Just make sure you’d need an additional UDH derailleur hanger for the Shimano rear derailleur.
The stock (BDU384Y) Performance CX motor from Bosch offers 85Nm and 600W of peak power. Via Bosch’s Flow app you can upgrade motor output up to 100Nm and 750W peak power.
You can customize Scree’s Bosch Performance CX motor assistance modes the same way as other motor systems in Bosch’s motor lineup with the Flow App. Log in the Flow App, turn the bike on and connect to your Scree to customize the motor output Support, initial pedaling assistance through Dynamic, maximum kms/h / mph with the 25kms/h / 20mph assistance and 100 max Nm torque individually on the 4 support modes ECO, TOUR+, EMTB+ and TURBO. You can also modify the assistance modes to your liking, use all 4 or less if you prefer.
This is always a tricky question and also depends on the level of assistance you are using, rider fitness, rider weight and riding conditions.
With the new PT800Wh battery an average rider with 80 kgs riding weight can climb around 2.000m/6.500ft elevation gain (1.500m/5.000ft with PT600Wh battery) combining different support modes and ride as much as 4 hours in ECO-TOUR+ modes. Again, depending on riding conditions and rider physical level. The 250Wh PowerMore range extender would increase +30% (with PT800Wh battery) / +40% (with PT600Wh battery) riding time / distance with only 1.5 kg extra weight.
To maintain the proper power output from the motor, both batteries discharge at the same time. This is key for proper battery life and constant motor assistance. If you install a Powermore when you are running out of the internal battery, the Powermore will be used as the main battery supply until both charges (internal and extender) are equal and then, both will be equally discharged until fully drained.

Absolutely none. Nor is it required to lubricate any parts in the drive unit nor disassemble it... all you have to do is taking care for it as a traditional mountain bike. It is important to mention, however, as a precaution applicable to any mountain bike: electronic parts and, specifically, the bottom bracket area of the drive unit should never be cleaned with any highpressure cleaning machine. It is not recommended to use high-pressure water jet to clean the cranks axle directly as the electronic parts of the drive unit can be seriously damaged.
Previous generation Level models are very similar in concept, but frames, kinematics, geometry, motor and batteries are different and completely evolved from the previous ones. New Level models feature an all new Stealth Alloy frameset available in 5 sizes, with 2 geo options adjustable via flip-chip and size specific chainstay lengths: standard 445mm on sizes S, M and ML and the longer 455mm length on sizes L and XL. New Level models are also mullet, 29” front, 27,5” rear wheel. 2026 Level spec the latest generation of Bosch’s Performance CX G5 motor with up to 100Nm and 750W and 800Wh batteries for the greatest riding experience.
Directly compared, the latest (BDU384Y) Performance CX G5 new motor is 2.830 grams, 130 grams lighter compared with the previous model at 2.960 grams. New batteries are also lighter, the new Powertube 800Wh (stock on all 3 Level models) is 3.990 grams and the new Powertube 600Wh (also compatible with Level new frameset and aftermarket sold) is 3.070 grams.
Directly compared with the previous 2020-2024 Level framesets with Performance CX previous generation and heavier 4.370 grams Powertube 750Wh battery, the new 2026 Level frameset (complete frame + new 800Wh battery) is around 500 grams lighter and more efficient with updated motor performance and latest generation 21700 battery cells. Aftermarket sold optional Powertube 600Wh battery is 920 grams lighter compared to the new PT800Wh.
In addition to the RockShox Vivid, FOX DHX2 and Öhlins TTX 22m.2 shocks we spec for the different models, Level is also compatible with any Trunnion type 205x65mm Fox DHX coil series, Float X2 and any RockShox and Öhlins air or coil models. Level feature 205 x 65 mm sized shocks with Trunnion upper mount and bottom 30x8 mm standard hardware. Check before installing any other bigger rear shock as it might not fit.
Zero Suspension design and layout has been updated and improved following the latest performance evolutions seen on other latest generation Mondraker full suspension bikes. It would be difficult to sum up all the details but the updated Zero kinematics on 2026 Level offer a 25,5% progression rate, higher initial leverage ratio becoming more supple and sensitive off the top, feature a slightly lower anti-squat and anti-rise curves for a more capable and better overall performing rear suspension.
Level is compatible with forks up to 190 mm travel or 605mm axle to crown. Mondraker do not recommend going longer travel up front as geo and kinematics have been designed to perfectly work with a stock 180mm model. 190mm one would slacken the head angle by 0,5º, rise the bottom bracket by around 3mm and shorten the reach by 4 mm.
OnOff Pija droppers are lighter and all new for 2025 model year. New Pijas feature more compact designs, new actuation levers, lower stack heights and 5mm steps to reduce its total stroke for a total of 25mm in each model size. Pija are air-pressure adjustable (schrader valve sits under the seat clamps of the dropper) so you can tune it to your preferred return speed.
Yes, Level is compatible with larger rear brake rotors up until 220mm. With the latest powerful brake models such as the SRAM Maven and trends this is something we don’t really recommend, but it’s possible to fit them on latest generation Level models.
New Level offer 2 geo positions via flip chip. The standard position is the one that the bike comes as stock and there is a low position where bottom bracket will drop by 5 mm and angles will change – 0,35º. It is a very simple operation. Undo the shock bottom bolt with a 5mm allen key and flip both aluminum pieces on both sides of the bike as pictured on the frame. Install the shock bolt again and you are done. You can check all the complete geometry numbers at the Mondraker website.
2026 Level is compatible with tires up to 66mm wide which translate into 29”/27,5”x 2.6” tires. It is recommended to measure the tire before installing as the real width might be different depending on the manufacturer.
The bike has not been designed to ride with a 29” rear wheel and the motor has been configured to be ridden with a 27.5” rear wheel only.
Yes, as on any of the latest Bosch’s motor systems, there is a Bosch Powermore 250Wh range extender “water-bottle” mount style. It weighs 1.450 grams or 1.525 grams including Bosch’s side-specific mounting bracket and connecting cable. You will enjoy longer range compared to the internal 800Wh (+30%) Powertube batteries.

Yes you can. There are 2 possible locations for a water bottle cage, in the main frame, the standard position as on any other bike and below the top tube. You can also install a Powermore range extender on top of the main tube and carry a water bottle under the top tube at the same time.
Yes. New Level allow to easily remove the internal battery. It’s very simple just undo the top 5 mm allen bolt on the upper bottom side of the main tube and the battery will come off to charge it outside the bike, change it or simply cleaning or perform bike maintenance.
Yes. All new Level models come stock with the larger 800Wh battery but can be switched and accommodate the smaller and lighter 600Wh battery as well. In this case you would require a different bottom adaptor to fit the 600Wh as battery heights are different and so are the adaptors to properly fit the battery inside the main tube. Additionally you would want to buy an extra battery cover from your Mondraker dealer (this way you’d have 2 swappable ready to go batteries) or technically disassemble the stock one bolted into the stock battery and install it on the new one, but the foam inside between both 600 and 800 battery options is not the same either. Older and heavier 750Wh and 625Wh batteries could perfectly work on the new 2026 Level models but Mondraker does not supply the adaptors required to fit them with the all-new frames. Bike would also work with the Powermore range extender and no internal battery but Bosch do not recommend it or the bike is intended to be ridden only with the range extender as its name suggests.
The Powertube 800Wh battery takes around 6h to be fully charged. If you have a PowerMore range extender, it needs to be charged individually separately and takes around 2,5 hours to be fully charged.
Nothing special. You can control the remaining battery life at the Purion 400 display on the screen or through the 5 led bars at the System Controller on the top tube on the 2026 R model or on the Kiox 400 display on the RR and XR models. On the System Controller on 2026 Level R each led equals to 20% range and when any led turns white means 10% consumption has been reached on any of the remaining bars. When any bar turns off means 20% battery life has been used. When there is 30% battery life remaining the 2 blue leds still on will turn orange. When there’s only 10% battery life the only orange led on will turn red. Even with less than 30% or 10% or less battery remaining motor output will stay constant and not reduced to a lower wattage as it happens on other motor systems different from Bosch.
Yes you technically can, you would need to buy the proper accessories and run the charging cable internally to the main battery to do so.
Yes, totally. Just make sure you’d need an additional UDH derailleur hanger for the Shimano rear derailleur.
You can customize Level’s Bosch Performance CX motor assistance modes the same way as other motor systems in Bosch’s motor lineup with the Flow App. Log in the Flow App, turn the bike on and connect to your Level to customize the motor output Support, initial pedaling assistance through Dynamic, maximum kms/h / mph with the 25kms/h / 20mph assistance and up to 100 max Nm torque individually on the 4 (interchangeable as well) support modes ECO, TOUR+, EMTB and TURBO.
This is always a tricky question and also depends on the level of assistance you are using, rider fitness, rider weight and riding conditions. With the new PT800Wh battery an average rider with 80 kgs riding weight can climb around 2.000m/6.500ft elevation gain (1.500m/5.000ft with optional and aftermarket separately sold- PT600Wh battery) combining different support modes and ride as much as 4 hours in ECO-TOUR+ modes. Again, depending on riding conditions and rider physical level. The 250Wh PowerMore range extender would increase +30% (with PT800Wh battery) / +40% (with PT600Wh battery) riding time / distance with only 1.5 kg extra weight.
Yes. It is possible to remove the Purion 400 handlebar display on Level R and ride without it or even fit a larger display like the Kiox 500.. whatever. With no display, through the System Controller on top of the frame you can control how much battery is remaining and manage support modes through the Mini-Remote switch on the left side of the handlebar.

Arid models have been designed around a 1X 40T ring crankset. You can alter the ring tooth size with a maximum 46T or 44T for an oval ring. Arid are not 2X compatible. BB type is T47 (inner bearing) Q-Factor is 150mm and chain line is 47,5mm.
The handlebar height on the four Arid models has 5 or 10mm of adjustment, modifying the position of the steerer tube spacers for a total of 20mm height adjustment.
Arid is equipped with 440mm width handlebars in sizes S and M and 460mm in ML, L and XL sizes. The "flare" or handlebar drop-out is 16mm, making it an ideal option on our Arid for a comfortable position while maintaining good contact with the brake-shift levers.
Yes, you can install a 27.2mm diameter dropper post.
No, Arid do not feature kickstand specific mount for this matter.
No, Arid are not intended to carry or tow any cargo vehicle or trailer.
To guarantee the proper clearance on both fork and frame, maximum recommended width should not exceed 700x50c.
It is possible to install dedicated suspension forks for gravel bikes with up to 40mm of travel due to the change in geometry. The length of the standard rigid fork is 420mm. A 30mm or 40mm travel suspension like the RockShox Rudy XPLR in 30mm or 40mm (425mm or 435mm axle to crown) can be used. The Fox TC32 model with 40mm of travel can be used, but we do not recommend the 50mm travel option with an axle to crown of 445mm that would excessively modify the geometry. Recommended fork offset is 45mm.
On Arid models it is possible to fit specific bags for gravel bikes, either attached to the main frame or a bag on the handlebars or a dedicated one on the back under the saddle. In addition, Arid allows up to 6 water bottles to be carried simultaneously, four on the main triangle and two on both sides of the fork. It is also possible to install mudguards as Arid has the necessary mounts for their possible installation.
System weight (Bike + rider + total equipment) weight limit is 130 kg.
Sizes differ from one rider to other. Personal preferences are very unique and how you ride your bike is also important when choosing the correct size. This is a standard size chart you can use as a guideline.
S= 410mm seat tube 1.55 - 1.67
M= 450mm seat tube 1.65 - 1.77

Again, depending on riding conditions and rider physical level. The 250Wh PowerMore range extender would increase +60% riding time with only 1.5 kg extra weight.
The CompactTube 400Wh battery charges up to 50% in 90 minutes, while a full charge takes around 3,5 hours. If you have a PowerMore range extender, it needs to be charged individually separately and takes around 3,2 hours to be fully charged.
Sly frame weighs 4.200 grams in size Medium. Float X shock weighs 515 grams and RockShox Deluxe weighs 365 grams with 30x8mm hardware installed.
You can customize the Sly’s Bosch Performance SX motor assistance modes the same way as other motor systems in Bosch’s motor lineup with the Flow App. Log in the Flow App, turn on the bike and connect to your Sly to customize the motor output Support, initial pedaling assistance through Dynamic, maximum kms/h / mph with the 25kms/h / 20mph assistance and 55 max Nm torque individually on the 4 support modes ECO, TOUR+, EMTB and TURBO.
No. The internal battery is integrated and non removable. In case disassembly is required, Bosch’s Performance SX motor must be removed first.
Yes. It is possible to remove the Purion 400 handlebar display and ride without it. Through the System Controller on top of the frame you can control how much battery is remaining and switch support modes through the Mini-Remote switch on the left side of the handlebar.
You could technically ride a smaller 27,5” rear wheel but the bike has not been designed to ride a mullet setup and the motor would not offer the optimum performance as wheel diameter is altered. The smaller wheel circumference will affect the accuracy of the speed reading and cannot be adjusted. For example, switching to a 27.5 x 2.5" rear wheel and tire combination will reduce cut-off speed by about 1 or 2 km/h. Geometry will be heavily compromised as well and Mondraker does not cover the warranty riding anything different from the stock 29” rear wheel.

Bosch offers different sizes of the connecting cable for the Powermore range extender, you will need the 300mm length. Bosch part number is EB12.120.07C and this is its description: POWERMORE CABLE 300MM (BCH3923_300)
Both models are very similar in concept, geometry and kinematics, although NEAT is a range focused on maximum lightness with Stealth Air Carbon frames with TQ motor while SLY models feature the latest generation Stealth alloy frame with BOSCH Performance SX light eMTB motor.
You can find all display and remote manual information following this link from BOSCH: https://www.bosch-ebike.com/en/products/kiox
SLY models feature the same Stealth Alloy frame and the same Bosch’s Performance SX latest generation motor. The weight of the motor is around 2.050 grams and delivers 55Nm of torque with 600W peak power at high pedaling cadence.
SLY is compatible with forks up
to 170 mm travel or 590mm axle to crown.
SLY is compatible with tires up to 63mm wide which translate into 29”x 2.5” tires. It is recommended to measure the tire before installing as the real width might be different depending on the manufacturer.
This chart illustrates the measurements for seatpost insertion for either standard or dropper models.

In addition to the FOX and RockShox Deluxe we use for the different models, it is also compatible with Fox Float series, DHX, DPX2, DHX2 coil, RockShox SuperDeluxe Air or Coil as well as Öhlins TTX Air, TTX22. SLY feature metric 185 x 55 mm sized shocks with Trunnion upper mount and bottom 30x8 mm standard hardware.
Absolutely none. Nor is it required to lubricate any parts in the drive unit nor disassemble it... all you have to do is taking care for it as a traditional mountain bike. It is important to mention, however, as a precaution applicable to any mountain bike: electronic parts and, specifically, the bottom bracket area of the drive unit should never be cleaned with any high-pressure cleaning machine. Therefore, it is not recommended to use high-pressure water jet to clean the cranks axle directly as the electronic parts of the drive unit can be seriously damaged.
Yes, there is a BOSCH POWERMORE 250Wh range extender “water-bottle” mount style. It weighs 1.450 grams or 1.525 grams including Bosch’s side-specific mounting bracket and connecting cable. You will enjoy greater +60% longer range compared to the internal 400Wh CompactTube battery.
2025 OnOff Pija and FOX Transfer droppers are lighter and all new for 2025. Both models feature more compact designs, new actuation levers, lower stack heights and 5mm steps to reduce its total stroke for a total of 25mm in each model size. Both of them are air-pressure adjustable (schrader valve sits under the seat clamps of the dropper) so you can tune both FOX and OnOff droppers to your preferred return speed.
Nothing special. You can control the remaining battery life at the Purion 400 display on the screen or through the 5 led bars at the System Controller on the top tube. Each led equals to 20% range and when any led turns white means 10% consumption has been reached on any of the remaining bars.
Yes you can. There are 2 possible locations for a water bottle cage, in the main frame, the standard position as on any other bike and below the top tube.
The Powermore 800Wh battery takes around 6h to be fully charged while the 600Wh takes around 4,5h if fully discharged. If you have a PowerMore range extender, it needs to be charged individually separately and takes around 2,5 hours to be fully charged.
There are 2 different 2025 Crafty Carbon frames Full Stealth Air Carbon frameset on models RR S, XR and RR SL which weight is around the same compared with the previous M-sized 2020-2024 Crafty Carbon at around 3.100 grams for the complete painted frame complete with hardware and accessories without rear shock in ML size. Crafty Carbon R and RR with Stealth Alloy frame weight is around 3.650 grams compared.
You could technically ride a smaller 27,5” rear wheel but the bike has not been designed to ride a mullet setup and the motor would not offer the optimum performance as wheel diameter is altered. The smaller wheel circumference will affect the accuracy of the speed reading and cannot be adjusted. For example, switching to a 27.5 x 2.6" rear wheel and tire combination will reduce cut-off speed by about 1 or 2 km/h.. and probably with the magnet speed sensor on the rear smaller diameter wheel the motor might not work properly. Geometry will be heavily compromised as well with angles changing -1.5º and bottom bracket dropping -13/-15mm and, more importantly, Mondraker does not cover the warranty riding anything different from the stock 29” rear wheel.
You can customize Crafty’s Bosch Performance CX motor assistance modes the same way as other motor systems in Bosch’s motor lineup with the Flow App. Log in the Flow App, turn the bike on and connect to your Crafty to customize the motor output Support, initial pedaling assistance through Dynamic, maximum kms/h / mph with the 25kms/h / 20mph assistance and 85 max Nm torque individually on the 4 support modes ECO, TOUR+, EMTB and TURBO.
Yes. New Crafty Carbon allow to easily remove the internal battery. It’s very simple just undo the top 5 mm allen bolt on the upper bottom side of the main tube and the battery will come off to charge it outside the bike, change it or simply cleaning or perform bike maintenance.
Yes. It is possible to remove the Purion 400 handlebar display and ride without it or even fit a larger display like the Kiox 500.. whatever. With no display, through the System Controller on top of the frame you can control how much battery is remaining and manage support modes through the Mini-Remote switch on the left side of the handlebar.
Yes, Crafty Carbon is compatible with larger rear brake rotors up until 220mm. With the latest powerful brake models such as the SRAM Maven and trends this is something we don’t really recommend, but it’s possible to fit them on the Crafty Carbon models.
Follow this link from BOSCH: https://www.bosch-ebike.com/en/products/performance-line-cx
Yes, totally. Just make sure you’d need an additional UDH derailleur hanger for the Shimano rear derailleur.
Yes you can. The new headset upper cup is ready to route the cables through it and run a completely internal guiding if you prefer it this way.
Directly compared the new 2025 (BDU384Y) Performance CX new motor is 2.830 grams, 130 grams lighter compared with the previous model at 2.960 grams. New batteries are also lighter, the new Powertube 800Wh is 3.990 grams and the new Powertube 600Wh is 3.070 grams.
Directly compared with the previous 2020-2024 Crafty Carbon framesets with Performance CX previous generation and heavier 4.370 grams Powertube 750Wh battery, the new 2025 Crafty Carbon frameset (complete frame + new 800Wh battery) is around 500 grams lighter and more efficient with updated motor performance and latest generation 21700 battery cells.
Powertube 600Wh battery is 920 grams lighter compared to the new PT800Wh.
Yes you technically can, you would need to buy the proper accessories and run the charging cable internally to the main battery to do so.
Yes. All new Crafty Carbon models allow to either run the Powertube 800Wh or the 600Wh batteries. Additionaly you would want to buy an extra battery cover from your Mondraker dealer (this way you’d have 2 swappable ready to go batteries) or technically disassemble the stock one bolted into the stock battery and install it on the new one, but the foam inside between both 600 and 800 battery options is not the same either. Older and heavier 750Wh and 625Wh batteries could perfectly work on the new 2025 Crafty Carbon models but Mondraker does not supply the adaptors required to fit them with the all-new Crafty Carbon frames. Bike would also work with the Powermore range extender and no internal battery but Bosch do not recommend it or the bike is intended to be ridden only with the range extender as its name suggests.
New Crafty Carbon offer 2 geo positions via flip chip.
Bosch offers different sizes of the connecting cable for the Powermore range extender, you will need the 150mm length for all Crafty Carbon models and bike sizes.
Both models are very similar in concept, but frames, kinematics, geometry, motor, batteries.. are different and completely evolved from the previous ones. New 2025 Crafty Carbon models feature an all new Stealth Air Carbon main frame with 2 different swingarm options Stealth Air Carbon or Stealth Alloy. This new Crafty model is available in 5 sizes, offer 2 geo options adjustable via flip-chip and size specific chainstay lengths: the standard 455mm on sizes S, M and ML and the longer 465mm chainstay length on sizes L and XL as well.
2025 Crafty Carbon also spec the latest generation of Bosch’s Performance CX motor and 800Wh and 600Wh batteries for the greatest riding experience.
New 2025 Crafty Carbon feature a new 5 sizes concept with a new ML size in between sizes Medium and Large. Compared with the previous 4 sizes option in Crafty’s previous generation, the new Small and Medium sizes are slightly smaller compared to the previous Small and Medium 4-size offerings and the new Large and Extra Large are slightly larger as well. Check the geometry charts for further information and all details.

Zero Suspension design and layout has been updated and improved
following the latest performance evolutions seen on other latest generation
Mondraker full suspension bikes. It would be difficult to sum up all the
details but the updated Zero kinematics on 2025 Crafty Carbon offer a 24%
progression rate, higher leverage ratio becoming more supple and sensitive off
the top, feature a slightly lower anti-squat and anti-rise curves for a more
capable and better overall performing rear suspension.
In addition to the FOX Float X, Öhlins TTX 22m.2 and Float shocks we spec for the different models, it is also compatible with Fox DHX coil series, Float X2 and any RockShox and Öhlins air or coil model except Vivid Air. Crafty Carbon feature metric 185 x 55 mm sized shocks with Trunnion upper mount and bottom 30x8 mm standard hardware. Check before installing any other bigger rear shock as it might not fit.

Check the list of parts in the bike manual, section 8.5.
Yes, you can install a 27.2mm diameter dropper post.
No, Arid do not feature kickstand specific mount for this matter.
The handlebar height on the four Arid models has 10mm of adjustment, modifying the position of the steerer tube spacers.
No, Arid are not intended to carry or tow any cargo vehicle or trailer.
Arid models have been designed around a 1X 40T ring crankset. You can alter the ring tooth size with a maximum 46T or 44T for an oval ring. Arid are not 2X compatible. BB type is T47. Q-Factor is 150mm and chain line is 47,5mm.
Arid models have been designed with a specific storage compartment that we have dubbed Carry-On where, inside, you will find 3 specific and independent storage bags to carry spare inner tubes and tire levers in one of them, CO2 cartridges and/or mini-pump in another one, and multi-tool, tire plugs, chain tool… in the last one. These bags have been specifically designed for this purpose and are included in the original equipment when purchasing any Arid gravel model.
Arid is equipped with 440mm width handlebars in sizes S and M and 460mm in sizes L and XL. The "flare" or handlebar drop-out is 16mm, making it an ideal option on our Arid for a comfortable position while maintaining good contact with the brake-shift levers.
System weight (Bike + rider + total equipment) weight limit is 130 kg.
To guarantee the proper clearance on both fork and frame, maximum recommended width should not exceed 700x50c.

XL= 540mm seat tube 1.92 - 2.05
Yes, size small is only compatible with Fidlock 450ml.
On the first ride the battery will only last to about 15% of remaining charge. After the first ride and full depletion and subsequent charging, the battery management system will ‘learn’ what it needs to know and will deplete all the way to 0% on future rides.
Yes, larger size frames can hold up to 2 battery range extenders. But only one range extender can be connected to the bike. When one range extender is empty, just swap it for the other.
Yes, it is possible. In fact, TQ motor has almost 0 drag coefficient when it is not assisting so it gives a very natural feeling when pedalling.
Yes. This way you save around 1 kilo weight comparing the range extender weight and internal battery and this also allows you to fly with the NEAT by leaving the main battery behind and taking the range extender in your carry-on. Check with your airline before travelling to confirm compliance with regulations.
Yes. There is a charge level indicator on the battery with five bars and an optical switch. Cover the bar on the end, and the rest will light up according to the current charge level.
This is always a tricky question and also depends on rider fitness, rider weight and riding conditions. An average rider with 80 kgs riding weight can climb +1000m elevation gain in MID-HIGH modes and ride as much as 3-4 hours / 40-50 kms in ECO-MID modes again, depending on riding conditions and rider physical level. The 160Wh range extender would increase 50% riding time with only 1 kg extra weight.
Note that whenever the battery reaches less than 10% charge, the motor output will be reduced to 110 watts. The battery level indicator will flash to indicate Low Battery mode.
The TQ integrated 360Wh battery charges up to 80% in just 90 minutes, while a full charge takes a bit more than 2 hours. If you have a range extender, it changes plugged-in in the bike and takes 1 additional hour to be fully charged. Main 360Wh battery would be firstly charged and then, the 160Wh range extender.
Neat frame weighs 2,300 grams in size Medium. Float X rear shock weights 498 grams with 30x8mm hardware installed.
TQ HPR 50 has proven to be the best-in-class motor for this Light e-MTB category with the quietest riding feel- ing and user-friendly customizable support modes. The three assistance levels can be individually customized in maximum power output, assistance or main support and the initial pedal assistance, how quickly or how much the rider wants his motor to perform any time when beginning to pedal. Max power, support and pedaling response can be infinitely customizable for every riding mode, ECO, MID and HIGH.
You will have more information following the TQ support FAQS: https://www.tq-ebike.com/en/support/faq/
Yes, it’s possible to disassemble the internal battery, follow our manual instructions for this simple task.

Neat models feature the same frame and the same TQ’s HPR 50 latest generation mid motor. The weight of the motor is only 1.85 kilograms and delivers 50Nm of torque with 300W max power assistance.
System weight (Bike + rider + total equipment) weight limit is 150 kg.
In addition to the FOX Float X we use for the different models, it is also compatible with Fox Float series, DPX2, Float X2, DHX, DHX2 coil, RockShox Deluxe, SuperDeluxe Air or Coil as well as Öhlins TTX Air, TTX22. NEAT feature metric 185 x 55 mm sized shocks with Trunnion upper mount and bottom 30x8 mm standard hardware.

Yes, there is a TQ 160Wh range extender “water-bottle” mount style. It weighs 984 grams, or 1.120 grams includ- ing Fidlock mounting bracket and connecting cable. You will enjoy greater 50% longer range compared to the internal 360Wh battery.
Sizes differ from one rider to other. Personal preferences are very unique and how you ride your bike is also important when choosing the correct size. This is a standard size chart you can use as a guideline:
S 1.58 - 1.68
M 1.67 - 1.76
L 1.75 - 1.86
XL 1.85 - 1.95
2024 Foxy Carbon feature a 2 position lower link geometry option. By changing the position of the rear axle on the lower link, from the “standard” geometry position to the “low position” the seat angle and head angle slackens 0,5º, bottom bracket height is lowered 5 mm, chainstay (and wheelbase) length increase 10 mm and reach is reduced by 5 mm as well.
Geometry kit comes standard only with the Foxy Carbon RR SL model and also with the Foxy Carbon RR SL frameset kit, and contains adjustable headset cups to adjust the head angle +/-1°.
Geometry kits are different according to each size related to the different headtube height. So, every geometry kit is exclusive for every size.
Foxy Carbon is compatible up to 34T round-standard type rings or 32T for oval rings.
Foxy Carbon is compatible with forks up to 170 mm travel.
Foxy Carbon is compatible with tires up to 63mm wide which translate into 29”x 2.5” tires. However it is recommended to measure the tire before installing as the real width might be different depending on the manufacturer.

You can install two water bottles cages. One under the top tube with the precaution of using small screws of suitable thread length and the other one in the usual position on the down tube.
F-Podium is only compatible with 1X drivetrains up to a 38T round-standard type ring or 36T oval ring.
F-Podium is compatible with forks up to 120mm travel (stock forks on all F-Podium models). Mondraker does not recommend it, but it is possible to ride forks with less travel, 110mm or 100mm, taking into account that the steering angle will be steepened 0.5º every 10mm of shorter fork travel and the bottom bracket height to the ground will be reduced.
With a maximum recommended internal rim width of 30mm the maximum recommended tire you can fit is 29 x 2.4” which guarantees proper clearance to shed mud.

You can fit any in-line type of shock such as FOX Float SL or RockShox SID Luxe that come stock on our bikes, or similar in 165x45mm metric sized Trunnion upper mount and 30x8mm bottom hardware.
Sizes differ from one rider to other. Personal prefferences are very unique and how you ride your bike is also important when choosing the correct size. This is a standard size chart you can use as a guideline.
S 1.58 - 1.68
M 1.67 - 1.76
L 1.75 - 1.86
XL 1.85 - 1.95
In addition to the FOX Float X, Öhlins TTX Air and TTX22 m.2 coil we use for the different models, Dune is also compatible with Fox Float series, DPX2, Float X2, DHX, DHX2 coil, RockShox Deluxe, SuperDeluxe Air or Coil, Vivid Air or Coil. Dune feature metric 205x65 mm sized shocks with Trunnion upper mount and bottom 30x8 mm standard hardware.
Dune models feature the same Stealth Air Carbon frame and the same Bosch’s
Performance SX latest generation motor. The weight of the motor is around 2.050
grams and delivers 55Nm of torque with 600W peak power at high pedaling
cadence.
You can customize the Dune’s Bosch Performance SX motor assistance modes
the same way as other motor systems in Bosch’s motor lineup with the Flow App.
Log in the Flow App, turn on the bike and connect to your Dune to customize the
motor output Support, initial pedaling assistance through Dynamic, maximum
kms/h / mph with the 25kms/h / 20mph assistance and 55 max Nm torque
individually on the 4 support modes ECO, TOUR+, EMTB and TURBO.
This is always a tricky question and also depends on rider fitness,
rider weight and riding conditions. An average rider with 80 kgs riding weight
can climb around 1.500m/5.000ft elevation gain combining different support modes
and ride as much as 3 hours in ECO-TOUR+ modes. Again, depending on riding
conditions and rider physical level. The 250Wh PowerMore range extender would
increase +60% riding time with only 1.5 kg extra weight.
To maintain the proper power output from the motor, both batteries
discharge at the same time. This is key for proper battery life and constant
motor assistance. If you install a Powermore when you are running out of the
internal battery, the Powermore will be used as the main battery supply until
both charges (internal and extender) are equal and then, both will be equally
discharged until fully drained.
Yes. It is possible to remove the Kiox 500 handlebar display and ride
without it. Through the System Controller on top of the frame you can control
how much battery is remaining and switch support modes through the Mini-Remote switch
on the left side of the handlebar.
You can find all display and remote manual information following this
link from BOSCH: https://www.bosch-ebike.com/en/products/kiox
Absolutely none. Nor is it required to lubricate any parts in the drive
unit nor disassemble it... all you have to do is taking care for it as a
traditional mountain bike. It is important to mention, however, as a precaution
applicable to any mountain bike: electronic parts and, specifically, the bottom
bracket area of the drive unit should never be cleaned with any high-pressure
cleaning machine. Therefore, it is not recommended to use high-pressure water
jet to clean the cranks axle directly as the electronic parts of the drive unit
can be seriously damaged.
Dune frame weighs 2,650 grams in size Medium. Float X / Öhlins TTX Air rear shock weighs 520 grams and Öhlins TTX22 m.2 coil weighs 805 grams with 30x8mm hardware installed.
Dune is compatible with forks up
to 180 mm travel or 600mm axle to crown.
Dune is compatible with tires up to 66mm wide which translate into 27,5”x 2.6” tires. It is recommended to measure the tire before installing as the real width might be different depending on the manufacturer.
Mondraker do not approve the use
of a wheel diameter different from the stock 27.5” one. A larger 29” rear wheel
technically fits but the bike has not been designed to ride a 29” setup and the
motor would not offer the optimum performance as wheel diameter is altered. The
larger wheel circumference will affect the accuracy of the speed reading and
cannot be adjusted. Geometry will be
heavily compromised and Mondraker does not cover the warranty riding anything
different from the stock 27,5” rear wheel.
Yes, there is a BOSCH POWERMORE 250Wh range extender “water-bottle” mount
style. It weighs 1.450 grams or 1.525 grams including Bosch’s side-specific mounting
bracket and connecting cable. You will
enjoy greater +60% longer range compared to the internal 400Wh CompactTube battery.
Bosch offers different sizes of the connecting cable for the Powermore range extender, you will need the 100mm length. Bosch part number is EB12.120.035 and this is its description: POWERMORE CABLE 100MM (BCH3923_100)
No. The internal battery is integrated and non removable. In case
disassembly is required, Bosch’s Performance SX motor must be removed first.
The CompactTube 400Wh battery charges up to 50% in 90 minutes, while a full
charge takes around 3,5 hours. If you have a PowerMore range extender, it needs
to be charged individually separately and takes around 3,2 hours to be fully
charged.
Nothing special. You can control the remaining battery life at the Kiox 500 display on the top left of the screen or through the 5 led bars at the System Controller on the top tube. Each led equals to 20% range and when any led turns white means 10% consumption has been reached on any of the remaining bars. When any bar turns off means 20% battery life has been used. When there is 30% battery life remaining the 2 blue leds still on will turn orange. When there’s only 10% battery life the only orange led on will turn red. Even with less than 30% or 10% or less battery remaining motor output will stay constant and not reduced to a lower wattage as it happens on other motor systems.
Bikes are hand-assembled at our Mondraker Headquarters and each bike’s technical parameters and programming are also set by us to ensure its perfect performance and all relevant homologation. Wheel size and tire size, number of speeds and its different sprocket numbers etc., are defined into each bike’s setting program for proper performance. Any modification or system firmware update must be carried out by an official Mondraker Dealer.
Geometry, suspension kinematics and travel are all the same, although Crusher uses an aluminum rear swingarm instead of carbon like Crafty Carbon.
If the battery is fully drained to 0%, with the original charger it takes about 5 hours to fully charge the battery to 100%.
Crusher does not have specific brackets for installing a range extender and cannot be installed.
Crusher allows the possibility of using one bottle cage below the top tube.
Crusher is focused on pure performance and designed with the lightest possible weight in mind so the battery is internal and non removable. To charge the battery you’ll need to plug the charger directly to the battery port below the main tube. If, by any chance a battery removal is needed, any Mondraker Dealer will be able to take out the battery removing the motor first.
Crusher is compatible with forks up to 170 mm travel.

The maximum dropper post insertion for the Chrono Carbon models is 145mm for size S, 185mm for size M, 220mm for size L and 270mm for size XL.
We spec 29x2.40" tires fitted as standard and this is the largest size recommended for this model, or 61mm width.
The new model has been redesigned and has an updated geometry with 120mm front suspension travel. It features Fidlock bottle cage mounts integrated into the seat tube and main tube, both compatible with normal bottle cages using the standard Mondraker adapter included. The cable routing is external, although internal routing through the head tube is possible with a compatible headset. The chain line is 55mm, the derailleur hanger is UDH.
Bikes are hand-assembled at our Mondraker facilities and each bike’s technical parameters and programming are also set by us to ensure its perfect performance and all relevant homologation. No. The system always needs the internal battery on the bike, even if it has no charge, for the system to work. This is because the BMS (Battery Management System) is found in the internal battery.
No, the batteries do not charge each other. To charge either battery, it is necessary to be plugged into a wall socket for power.
If the battery is completely drained at 0%, with the original charger it will take up to 4.9 hours to get 100% for the 630Wh internal battery.
Yes. In this case the system works only with the external battery charge.
Thundra is Di2 compatible. First thing you have to do is installing a software update so the Di2 system can use the energy from the motor’ battery. As the chainstay lacks of internal guiding you have to be very careful to protect the rear derailleur cable. Di2 system on e-bikes makes greater and faster wear on chain and cassette due to the motor power assistance, and at Mondraker we assume no liability for any thereby resulting damage or faster components’ wear.
Thundra allows the possibility of using one bottle cage below the top tube.
The internal battery on the bike can only be removed disassembling the motor, so it is not easily removable. To charge the battery you need to plug the charger directly connected to the bike on the bottom of the main tube.
Thundra is compatible with 29” and 27’5 x 2,80” Plus tires knowing that switching to Plus tires coming from stock 29”, bottom bracket height might drop significantly depending on the tire size.
When the external battery is connected, it is always the one that discharges first. For example, if the two batteries are at 100%, the external battery is drained first and then the internal battery. If we do not have the external battery connected and we are at 50% charge of the internal battery and at that time we connect the external battery at 100%, the system will discharge the external battery first and then will continue with 50% of the internal battery.
Thundra is compatible with forks up to 120 mm travel.

Downhill bikes suffer more intensive use than the rest of the disciplines, so a good maintenance is key to extend the life of our bike and guarantee a safe use. The main points to check are:
Before every ride: tire pressure, suspension pressure and/or adjustment and proper performance of the brakes. It is also important to check the bolts to avoid any play or cracking.
After each ride: Cleaning and lubrication of the bike.
Every 4 or 5 rides: Check the brake pads for wear. Check the spokes tension. Clean the drivetrain and lube it. Check the wear and tear of the cables and housings. Check tire wear. Check headset or bottom bracket play. Change tubeless fluid. Check the tightening torque of the suspension links.
Every 12-15 rides or once a year: Major suspension overhaul. Brake fluid change and bleeding. Grease the freehub, bottom bracket, headset, seat post and frame thru axles.

Absolutely none. Nor is it required to lubricate any parts in the drive unit nor disassemble it... all you have to do is taking care for it as a traditional mountain bike. It is important to mention, however, as a precaution applicable to any mountain bike: electronic parts and, specifically, the bottom bracket area of the drive unit should never be cleaned with any high-pressure washer machine. Therefore, it is not possible to use high-pressure water to clean the cranks axle directly as the electronic parts of the drive unit can be seriously damaged.
Level is Di2 compatible.
Yes, you can install a 27.2mm diameter dropper post. In fact, Dusty XR model is specced with a SRAM Reverb XPLR AXS 27.2 x 400mm dropper.
Dusty frame weighs 1,298 grams and the gravel-specific carbon fork weighs 579 grams.
If you have not ridden the Dusty for more than 60 days, the bike automatically goes into sleep mode. Plug in the charger and keep it plugged in for at least 1 hour to reactivate the motor and battery operation properly. If you are sure that you are not going to ride the bike for a long time, keep in mind that in order to keep the battery working at its best and extend its life, it is important to store it between 20 and 80 percent.
For this purpose at Mondraker we have created made two models of bags from Apidura brand that have been customized for the Dusty's design. One of them can be fitted on the front of the top tube and the other on the inner front side of the main triangle. Both have an innovative design and are high quality. In addition, Dusty models have been designed for multidisciplinary use and can carry up to three water bottle cages on the front triangle - down tube, seat tube and top tube - including two additional ones on both sides of the fork, as well as mudguards, racks, etc.
The handlebar height on the three Dusty models has 10mm of adjustment,
modifying the position of the steerer tube spacers. It is important to note
that the stem uses a specific shim for this model and the correct cable
routing, so it will not be possible to use a different stem model than the ones
we spec as standard equipment on the bikes.
Dusty have been designed around a 1X 40T ring crankset. You can either
alter the ring tooth size, go 2X Wide standard or change the cassette. The X20
system features a BB386 bottom bracket with integrated torque sensor and
cadence meter. To remove it, a special tool supplied by Mahle is required. Q-Factor
is 150mm and chain line is 47,5mm.
Yes, the e-Shifters remote controls located on both sides of the handlebars that allow you to change the support modes of the X20 motor can be repositioned. In fact, Mondraker does not assemble them as a standard equipment on the bike so that the owner himself, at the dealer floor, can fit them where he considers convenient or deems appropriate. For the same reason, the handlebar tape is not fitted either.
The X20 system on the Dusty features three assistance modes for dedicated gravel riding which are driven by the Watts On Demand concept. The assistance provided by the motor in each of the modes is proportional to the physical effort you make. Mode 1 offers a level of assistance up to 25% greater than our physical effort. Mode 2 offers up to 50% more and mode 3 ranges from 70% to 200% more power than the effort we apply when pedaling. It is a level of support that feels very natural, not intrusive, providing just the right amount of power in each of the modes, optimizing and maximizing battery life and range. The three modes are configurable and can individually modify the maximum power, acceleration and initial support/ reactivity in each level of assistance. Through the Mahle MySmartbike app -available for both iOS and Android devices- you can find all the data related to your experience riding the Dusty as well as access to the customization of the assistance modes.
Dusty models have been designed with the best possible performance and design integration in mind so internal 350Wh battery is not removable. To charge the Dusty you have to plug it directly to a wall socket.
Sure you can install a suspension fork, gravel specific with a maximum travel of 50mm. In fact, Dusty XR model is specced with a RockShox Rudy Ultimate XPLR with 40mm of travel.
A smaller 650 diameter wheel is technically compatible. Having a motor in the rear wheel would require the wheel to be laced and this is an operation that is not convenient to be carried out by anyone other than an authorized Mahle dealer, so we do not recommend it. The Dusty frame has exclusive dropouts for the Mahle X20 drive, so it is not possible to use a standard wheel.
Sure. This operation is done through the battery charger that will update the system simultaneously while charging the bike. To do so, we will have to download the latest version of the firmware available from the PC/Mac to the charger itself through the Micro-USB port and, once we connect the charging port on the bike itself to charge the battery, the system will be updated.
You can download the user manual following this link: https://mahle-smartbike.com/downloads/ and clicking on X20 System User Manual.
Dusty is equipped with 440mm width handlebars in sizes S and M and 460mm in sizes L and XL. The "flare" or handlebar drop-out is 18mm, making it an ideal option on our Dusty for a comfortable position while maintaining good contact with the brake levers.
Mahle's 2.1" sized Pulsar One display features wireless connectivity and allows you to visualize at a glance information on screen such as main -and range extender if connected- battery charge status, assistance level, riding data such as current speed, average speed, trip and total distance, trip time, cadence, power sensor (real time data on watts of power output) or heart rate (via ANT+ sensors). It works with a CR2032 battery and uses a mounting bracket compatible with Garmin devices. Any GPS device with Blueetooth/ANT+ connectivity with eBike protocol is likewise capable of displaying the system data on screen.
Dusty models feature the same frame and the same Mahle's latest generation X20 hub motor. The weight of the motor is only 1.4 kilograms and delivers 23Nm to the wheel, comparable to 55Nm on a mid-motor.
To guarantee the proper clearance on both fork and frame, maximum
recommended width should not exceed 700x47c.
Sizes differ from one rider to other. Personal preferences are very unique and how you ride your bike is also important when choosing the correct size. This is a standard size chart you can use as a guideline
S= 440mm seat tube 1.58 - 1.68
M= 460mm seat tube 1.67 - 1.76
L= 500mm seat tube 1.75 - 1.86
XL= 530mm seat tube 1.85 - 1.95
At Mondraker we offer an extender range e185 from Mahle “water-bottle” mount style which offers 172Wh. It weighs 1.1 kilogram and, additionally, you will enjoy greater 50% longer range compared to the internal 350Wh battery. It features 21.700 cells, takes 1h to recharge it up to 80% (2h for completely charged).
Chrono DC is designed for 1X drivetrains only up to a 36T round-standard type or 34T oval ring.
Chrono DC is compatible with forks up to 140mm travel. Compared with the standard 120 mm fork, fitting a 140 mm fork will slacken the head and seat angle by 1º degree and raise the bottom bracket height by around 8 mm.
With a maximum recommended internal rim width of 30 mm the widest recommended tire you can fit is 29 x 2.4” which guarantees proper clearance to shed mud.

Bikes are hand-assembled at our Mondraker facilities and each bike’s technical parameters and programming are also set by us to ensure its perfect performance and all relevant homologation. Wheel size and tire size, number of speeds and its different sprocket numbers etc., are introduced into each bike’s setting program for proper performance. Any modification or system firmware update must be carried out by an official Mondraker dealer.
On Chaser X, if the battery is completely drained at 0%, with the original Bosch standard charger it will take up to 4.9 hours to get 100% with the PowerTube 625Wh battery; 3.7 hours if you are using the Fast Charger. In one hour, this Fast Charger can recharge a fully drained battery up to 50%. On Chaser RX if the battery is completely drained at 0%, with the original Bosch standard charger it will take up to 5.9 hours to get 100% with the PowerTube 750Wh battery; 4.2 hours if you are using the Fast Charger. In one hour, this Fast Charger can recharge a fully drained battery up to 40%.
Although both Chaser X-RX models are either compatible with 29 x 2.6” and 27’5 x 2.80” we do not recommend altering the wheel’s diameter as it could modify its geometry and both models are specced with racks and fenders dedicated for the use with 29 inch wheels and compatible tires.
Chaser X-RX is Di2 compatible.
Chaser X and RX allow the possibility of using one bottle cage below the top tube.
2023 Chaser RX is more focused on performance and designed with the goal of reducing weight on the main tube so the 750Wh battery is internal and non removable. To charge the battery you’ll need to plug the charger directly to the battery port op top and below the main tube. If, by any chance a battery removal is needed, any Mondraker Dealer will be able to take out the battery removing the motor first.
Yes, you can remove the 625Wh battery from the frame easily without the need to use any special tools.
Chaser X and RX are compatible with forks up to 160 mm travel.

Summum MX and Summum 29 frames are different and have been optimised independently for each wheel diameter.
We do not recommend a 27.5” rear wheel on Summum 29 model as it will alter the geometry too much, lowering the BB and slackening the head tube angle.
Summum Carbon is only compatible with SuperBoost rear hubs 157x12mm so it is not compatible with standard 148x12mm Boost wheels.
Yes, Summum Carbon and Summum Alloy share the same kinematics.
The geometry kit come standard on Summum Carbon 29 RR and MX complete models and framesets and consists of two sets of headset cups to adjust the fork angle by -1°, -2°, +1° or +2° with respect to the standard one (0º) and adjustable chaintay length in 445-450-455 mm by changing the position of the chip at the rear wheel axle.
Downhill bikes suffer more intensive use than the rest of the disciplines, so a good maintenance is key to extend the life of our bike and guarantee a safe use. The main points to check are:
The front rotor diameter is limited by the fork manufacturer. The maximum allowed rear diameter is 203mm.
Summum Carbon is compatible with rear tires up to 2.6": 27.5x2.6" or 29x2.6".
Summum has been designed to fit most shocks on the market with the following specifications:

Summum has been designed to fit most shocks on the market with the following specifications:
Metric sized 225x70mm

Podium is designed for 1X drivetrains only up to a 36T round-standard type or 34T oval ring.
Podium is compatible with forks up to 120mm travel. Compared with the standard 100 mm fork, fitting a 120 mm fork will slack the head angle by 1º degree and raise the bottom bracket height around 10 mm.
With a maximum recommended internal rim width of 30 mm the maximum recommended tire you can fit is 29 x 2.4” which guarantees proper clearance to shed mud.
Yes, you can install a dropper post with 27.2 mm diameter, always taking care of its minimum recommended insertion.
As soon as you experience how easy these bikes roll, the extra uphill traction, the greater overall comfort and better cornering grip you will discover a whole new world of fun. With Plus wheels you will roll over obstacles with less effort in a more natural way, you will ride along winding terrain with added safety and control, and because of the bigger tire volume you will have lower risk of having a puncture. Many added advantages concerning its larger sizes of 2.8” or 3.0” that, as soon as you experience it, will lead you to discover the infinite fun possibilities that Plus wheels offer.
At Mondraker we differ models in Trail category from the ones in All Mountain category. This way we find Prime + and Factor + 120 mm travel models with 2.8” tires and Vantage + and Crafty + 140 mm travel with 3.0” tires.
According to the features described above of better cornering grip and greater traction, you already can already imagine the higher control and security level that this new wheel size offers. Such safety is the perfect claim for less technical or less experienced riders to be able to tackle new challenges never imagined before. The most technical riders can also enjoy new thrills such as climbing very steep trails or railing turns with total confidence: examples of what the new Plus world has to offer.
“Plus” wheels provide greater riding comfort, superior traction and cornering grip with minimum extra weight, which leads to more enjoyment and establish a new dimension in mountain biking.
Yes, and it is as simple as downloading Ebikemotion® App available for both Android and iOS, registering with a new user account, connecting your Bluetooth, and turning on your bike. You will automatically be connected to it and will be able to control multitude of functions.
It is possible to change these components as long as they are of compatible standards and designed for the specific use, or higher, of the Play. Special care must be taken to ensure that the child adapts comfortably to these new components to guarantee his or her safety on the bike.
Play is not compatible with internally routed dropper seatposts.
Yes, to remove the battery, you must first remove the rear wheel. Then remove the screw (M3) on the right side and the screw (M5) on the left side (this one also holds the battery). Then remove the 2 remaining screws that hold the battery to the main tube, disconnect the port with the control knob to proceed with battery removal.

Access your global stats through both the Activities section and the Account section. You will be able to see information about your weekly/yearly average or the overall total from when you started recording your activities in MIND.
From the Account section, go to Language: there you can change to your preferred language and country. When you change language, the Mondraker content about events or promotions available may change.
Access your bike from the Bikes section, and select the More information option: you can then see all the technical specs for your bike model and download the manuals.
The Activities section shows all the activities synchronized from MIND to your user account. From the top box you can search by entering the name or date (in one of the following formats: 17/10/2025, 2025/10/17, 17-10-2025 or 2025-10-17).
On each activity, you will be able to see information like the route map, time, distance, number of jumps... You can edit it from the top right icon, in case you want to change the name or remove any part of the route. You can only delete parts of the route from the start or from the end (such as the departure from or end at the garage) but not parts caught in the middle. When you delete part of the route, the activity values will be recalculated and the graphs/stats will change accordingly
To activate or deactivate the alarm (on MIND-equipped bikes), go to the Bikes section, select the bike and connect it via bluetooth. From that screen, select the option to activate or disable the alarm. While the alarm is activated, when the bike moves, you will receive a warning notification in My Mondraker. Don't forget to deactivate it when you come near it again.
In your user account you can have more than one linked bike. To add a new bike, go to "Bikes" and click on the "Add bike" option. You have three ways to do it:
For bikes with MIND, you can find the Bluettoth name and password as the serial number on a QR code attached to your bike or in the owner's manual.
With the SAG setting you can customise the suspension settings of both the the front and rear springs if the bike has both. The adjustment is based on the bike model, your own weight and your riding style. This functionality is available for bikes with MIND.
To adjust the SAG, go to Bikes, select the bike you want to set up, connect your bike via bluetooth and click on the "Set SAG" button.
You will then see the steps you have to follow: you will be asked to input your weight and choose between three driving modes: Comfort, Standard or Racing and, depending on the data you input, the system will tell you which pressure to apply and the settings for the other parameters. To increase or reduce pressure as indicated, use a shock pump.
Once the changes have been made, it will tell you to get on the bike. Try to do this with the equipment you use often: helmet, shoes, rucksack, ... so that the set weight is accurate. Climb on the bike and let your weight drop softly on the saddle and pedals.
Once on the bike, click on Check. If the setting is correct, you will see the "Correct Setting" message. In the event that the parameters are not correct, an error message will tell you if you need to increase pressure or remove pressure from your rear shock or your front shock.
When you check these settings, the LED lights on the bike's device will light up:
-green lights: indicate a correct setting.
-red lights: indicate pressure is too high, you need to reduce air pressure.
-blue lights: indicate pressure is too low, you need to increase air pressure.
Once the changes have been made to the corresponding shock absorbers, perform the verification process over.
If you have already set up the SAG before, you will see the "Check SAG" button. To check the settings, press the button, get on the bike and hit "Check setting". You will also be shown the "Correct setting" message or the pressure amounts to be changed.
In case you have found your bike or want to cancel the theft report, go to the Bikes section, select the bike you reported as stolen and select: "I've found my bike." From there you can send a message to confirm to Mondraker that the bike has been found.
Enter the Bikes section, and select the bike you want to link to a different Mondraker store. You can also do this from the Account section. Next to the name of the business you will see an Edit icon to change it. You will then see a list of stores, sorted by distance, if you allow My Mondraker to access your location, or by entering a post code. Once you find your store, press the "Link" button and it will update both your bike file and your account.
From the Account section, go to Settings: you can choose to Allow Notifications. If you do, you can select to receive all of them or only the Customer Support related, Bike Settings or Mondraker Information.
If you can't see My Mondraker notifications it may be due to your phone's notification setttings (not the App's). To change this, go to your phone's Settings and modify My Mondraker's notification options/permissions.
Go to the Bicycles section, select the bike you want to connect to and press the "Connect" or the bluetooth icon. You must have activated the bluetooth on your phone and be near the bike. Your phone will display a list of nearby devices available that you can connect to via bluetooth; select the one in MIND (its name is usually MIND_ followed by six digits). The first time you log in you will be asked for a password, which you can find in the QR code that is attached to the bike or in the owner's manual
From the Account section, go to Contact: there you can send a enquiry form that will be sent to Mondraker.
The bike is calibrated at the factory so it is only necessary to recalibrate it if the device sensor gets misaligned with the magnet integrated in the bike. This can happen due to a change of position of the device (after disassembling and reassembling the pieces), the device receiving a big shock or other, similar reasons.
To complete the calibration, on bikes with MIND, go to the Bikes section, select the bike you want to recalibrate, then connect it via bluetooth and select the: "Recalibrate shock" option. Then the you will see the next steps:
-Deflate the shock: let go of all pressure from the rear shock by opening its valve.
-Get on the bike: climb on the bike to ensure that the shock bottoms out and empties itself completely. Once on the bike, press the "Done" button and then get off it.
-Pump up the shock absorber: do it with a shock pump fitted with a manometer (pressure gauge), increasing the pressure to the recommended level for your bike model. Once the right pressure is reached, press the "Done" button.
-Press "Check SAG" to see if the calibration is correct. You will have to get on the bike and hit "Check Setting". You will see the "correct setting" or "error" message, in in which case, the system will tell you whether you need to increase or decrease the pressure.
At the bottom centre of the screen you can start a new ride. Pressing the white circle will prompt the “start your ride” screen which will show a timer in the centre with a white icon underneath which when pressed will set your MIND system in motion.
If your bike is equipped with MIND, My Mondraker offers you the option to sync recordings from your bike to your phone or from your phone to the cloud. You can see if you have activities to sync from the icon on the top right of the App, or from the Activities section, whenever you are connected to the bike (from the Bikes section, you select the bike and connect it via bluetooth).
Select the recordings to synchronize or delete. Once synchronized, they will appear on the Activities list with all the available information.
To share your activity (synced from MIND) on Strava, first sync My Mondraker with your Strava account from the Account section, then Linked Accounts and Link with Strava.
Once the accounts are linked, you can access the activity you want to share from the Activities section and share using the icon on top right.
Each bike can be paired with one user only. If you want someone else to add a bike that you had previously linked, you will first have to remove it from your account. To do this:
After this, your bike will be deleted and shall be free for another user to add it.
A bike can only be linked to one user. Therefore, before adding it to My Mondraker, it must appear as "free"; that is, unlinked from any previous user account.
If you want to add a bike that is linked to another user, go to Bicycles > Add bike section, and when you get the message saying that the bike is linked to another user, select the "Request transfer" option. This way, the person currently linked to the bike will get a notification to confirm and approve the transfer. Once this is done, you will be able to use the App on your bike.
If you get a notification requesting a transfer it is because another user wants to link a bike (that you have added to My Mondraker) to his account. If you confirm the transfer, the bike will disappear from your account and will be added to the new owner's account. Please note that any activities left unsynchronized will remain visible to the new user.
If you do not see MIND among the devices available for Bluetooth connection, it may be due to the following:
-You're too far away from the bike: Try to get closer to improve the signal.
-MIND is off: check that the device is on. If so, it may be out of battery: please recharge it first.
-It prompts you for a password: the first time you connect to the bike, you will be prompted for a password. You can find it in the QR code attached to the bike or in the owner's manual.
To report a stolen bike, you must have previously filed a report with the Police. Go to the Bicycles section, select the bike you want to report stolen and press the button: "My bike has been stolen." From there you will have to fill in a form with your information, the date and time it was stolen, as well as a photo of the Police report. By pressing on "Report theft", the message gets to Mondraker, to handle the request.
If the battery is completely drained at 0%, with the original Bosch standard charger it will take up to 5.9 hours to get 100% with the PowerTube 750Wh battery; 4.2 hours if you are using the Fast Charger. In one hour, this Fast Charger can recharge a fully drained battery up to 40%.

Although both share similar tubings, geometries are exclusive to each model as rear suspension kinematics differ, and rear shocks and suspension travel is different on both models.
Level is compatible with forks up to 180 mm travel.
Level is compatible with 27’5 x 2,80” Plus tires knowing that BB height might drop significantly depending on the tire size.
2022 Level is focused on performance and designed with the goal of reducing weight on the main tube so the battery is internal and non removable. To charge the battery you’ll need to plug the charger directly to the battery port op top and below the main tube. If, by any chance a battery removal is needed, any Mondraker Dealer will be able to take out the battery removing the motor first.
In addition to the Öhlins TTX22 and FOX DHX standard on both models, Level is also compatible with Fox DPS, Float X, DPX2, Float X2, RockShox SuperDeluxe Coil or Air and similar options such as Öhlins TTX Air and STX Air. Level feature metric sized 225 x 75 mm shocks with Trunnion upper mount while using 25 x 10 mm bottom standard hardware.
Level allows the possibility of using one bottle cage below the top tube.
Yes, the charger has a system that will automatically stop when the battery is fully charged to 100%.
The bicycle must not be used in wet conditions. If it suddenly starts raining when riding, it is appropriate to turn off the system and continue with the bike off.
Yes, the air traffic regulations limit the battery capacity that each traveller can carry to 160Wh, being the capacity of the Grommy 80Wh.
Depending on the weight of the child, engine mode and surface we ride, the battery life can last up to 60 minutes. For a full charge, it is needed around 45 and 70 minutes.
This bike is not suitable for children under 3 years old. The child's coordination and stability must be appropriate for the use of a bicycle. He / she must be able to control the bike, have enough skill and strength to use the brakes. Any harm caused to the child during improper use will be the direct responsibility of the supervisor.
Your child can ride the bicycle as a toy inside closed parks, by no means the child should ride outside of these or on public roads.
Although Grommy is equipped with knobby tires, it is ideal to use it on flat or slightly uneven surfaces, as well as grounds without rocks, loose or slippery terrain that could make the child lose his/her balance.
Grommy has been designed for a maximum rider weight of 40Kg. A heavier weight can damage the frame, its components and cause the engine to overheat. If the damage is caused by a bad use, it will invalidate the warranty.
The ideal way for children to fully enjoy the Grommy is to have an adaptation process that allows them to become familiar with the bicycle.
This process would be the following:
The child should get to know the Grommy before starting the engine, so ideally they should spend some time becoming familiar with the controls and the position on the bike. Let the child get on the bike and move with it by helping himself with his own feet. Train with him and show him how to use the brake. When you think he/she is skilled enough to ride the bike, turn, brake and ride around objects you can start riding in the beginner's mode.
Once the child has enough control of the bike, we can switch on the motor and introduce him in a gradual way, according to the learning curve, to the 3 motor modes: Balance, Fun and Advanced. You will find all the information about each of the modes in the user's manual.
Although this depends on the physical growth of the child, a good reference would be the following:
Grommy 12” for children from 3 to 5 years
Grommy 16” for children aged 4 to 8
The parts and items that you should check periodically are
- Greasing the chain
- Chain tensioning
- Checking the braking system
- Checking the tightening torque of the screws
- Bicycle cleaning
In the Grommy's user’s manual you will find all the information you need to check with all the points described here.

2022 Foxy Carbon feature a 2 position lower link geometry option.

You can fit any in-line type of shock such as FOX DPS or RockShox SIDLuxe that come stock on our bikes, or with external reservoir such as FOX DPX2, Float X or RockShox Super Deluxe, 185 x 47,5 mm (F-Podium) and 185 x 50 mm (2022 F-Podium DC) metric sized Trunnion upper mount and 22,2 x 10 mm bottom hardware.
Yes, the battery can be removed from the bottom of the main tube by first removing the (M3) screws from the bottom cover, and then the 3 (M5) screws that hold the battery to the tube. The battery port must be disconnected from the control knob in order to remove the battery.
Yes, and it is as simple as downloading Ebikemotion® App available for both Android and iOS, registering with a new user account, connecting your Bluetooth, and turning on your bike. You will automatically be connected to it and will be able to control multitude of functions.
It is possible to change these components as long as they are of compatible standards and designed for the specific use, or higher, of the F-Play. Special care must be taken to ensure that the child adapts comfortably to these new components to guarantee his or her safety on the bike.
F-Play is not compatible with internally routed dropper seatposts.
Sizes differ from one rider to other. Personal preferences are very unique and how you ride your bike is also important when choosing the correct size. This is a standard size chart you can use as a guideline:
Up to 130 cm 24” wheel diameter
From 130 cm 26” wheel diameter
Bikes are hand-assembled at our Mondraker facilities and each bike’s technical parameters and programming are also set by us to ensure its perfect performance and all relevant homologation. Wheel size and tire size, number of speeds and its different sprocket numbers etc., are introduced into each bike’s setting program for proper performance. Any modification or system firmware update must be carried out by an official Mondraker dealer.
Dusk is compatible with 27’5 x 2,80” Plus tires knowing that BB height might drop significantly depending on the tire size.
Dusk is Di2 compatible.
Dusk allows the possibility of using one bottle cage below the top tube.
The internal battery on the bike can only be removed disassembling the motor, so it is not easily removable. To charge the battery you need to plug the charger directly connected to the bike on the bottom of the main tube.
Dusk is compatible with forks up to 160 mm travel.

Dusk is compatible with all coil sprung, air inline or piggyback shocks such as Fox DPS, Float X, DPX2, RockShox Deluxe, Super Deluxe Air or Coil as well as Float X2 o DHX2 or Öhlins TTX Air, TTX22 and STX Air. Dusk feature metric sized 205 x 65 mm shocks with Trunnion upper mount while using 25 x 10 mm bottom standard hardware. In case you ride with the secondary external battery installed, it is not possible to run a piggyback shock, that’s why the standard inline choices.
Sizes differ from one rider to other. Personal preferences are very unique and how you ride your bike is also important when choosing the correct size. This is a standard size chart you can use as a guideline:

Absolutely none. Nor is it required to lubricate any parts in the drive unit nor disassemble it... all you have to do is taking care for it as a traditional Mountain Bike. It is important to mention, however, as a precaution applicable to any Mountain Bike: electronic parts and, specifically, the bottom bracket area of the drive unit should never be cleaned with any high-pressure washer machine. Therefore, it is not possible to use high-pressure water to clean the cranks axle directly as the electronic parts of the drive unit can be seriously damaged.
Weight varies depending on the component choice. With the same specs, Crafty Carbon weight would be around 1.5 kg lighter than Crafty Alloy.
Crafty Carbon is compatible with 27’5 x 2,80” Plus tires knowing that BB height will drop significantly depending on the tire manufacturer, model and size.
Rear suspension layout and even geometry are exactly the same as on Crafty Alloy models. Rear suspension travel is 150 mm on Crafty Carbon as it is on Crafty alloy models.
Crafty Carbon is Di2 compatible.
Crafty Carbon allows the possibility of using one bottle cage below the top tube.
Crafty Carbon is focused on pure performance and designed with the lightest possible weight in mind so the battery is internal and non removable. To charge the battery you’ll need to plug the charger directly to the battery port below the main tube. If, by any chance a battery removal is needed, any Mondraker Dealer will be able to take out the battery removing the motor first.
Again, Crafty Carbon is focused purely on high performance and adding the extra weight of a secondary battery was not an option when the bike was originally designed.
Crafty Carbon is compatible with forks up to 170 mm travel.

2020 Dune Carbon frameset maintains the same front triangle compared to the previous ones, but the new 148x12 mm swingarm and suspension links are different. New carbon upper link is Trunnion mount and the lower link is compatible with 22,2x10 mm shock hardware.
2020 Dune Carbon kinematics stay the same. The new shock has been updated both in its internal tune, 205x65 mm metric sized and also being Trunnion upper mount and longer rear wheel travel.
Yes, it’s the same kinematics for both models.
The new seat stay is compatible with Dune Carbon frames from previous seasons, as long as the new link is also used. It is important to know that both shock and back wheel will have to use the new 2019 Dune Carbon standards.
Geometry kit comes standard with Dune Carbon XR and also with the Dune Carbon XR frameset kit, and contains the following parts:
Geometry kits are different according to each size related to the different headtube height. So, every geometry kit is exclusive for every size.
Dune Carbon steering cups are also compatible with Foxy Carbon.
With -1º cups installed, wheelbase increases by 5 mm and bottom bracket drops 2 mm. Effective seat angle slackens 0.2º and top tube effective distance is reduced in 5 mm.

Dune Alloy frame weight with hardware without shock: 2.880g.
Dune Carbon frame weight with hardware without shock: 2.490g.
390g difference.
Dune Carbon chainguide is compatible with 30T, 32T y 34T rings.
Besides the RockShox SuperDeluxe Coil OE on 2020 Dune Carbon XR, it is also compatible with air or coil FOX Float X2 and DHX2 shocks and also Öhlins TTX Air, TTX22 y STX Air models. It is not compatible with RockShox Vivid Air or Cane Creek Double Barrel Air / Coil.
There is a geometry kit available for the Dune, which includes two headset cups to slacken the head angle 1º.
The change is in the upper link, now compatible with shocks with Trunnion mount. The seat stay has also changed in the link area with the upper link.
2020 / 2019 Dune Alloy kinematics stay the same. Only the new shock has been updated both in its internal tune, 205x65 mm metric sized and also being Trunnion upper mount and longer rear wheel travel.
You can use forks up to 180 mm travel. Compared to a 170 mm fork, head angle would be 0,5º slacker and BB height would rise around 5 mm.
Dune is designed for combinations of 2x and 1x discs. For the 1x combination, the biggest disc that can be installed is 36 teeth.
Sizing is different from one user to another. Personal likings are very different and the type of use of the bike is also very important for this decision. This is a general chart that could be used as a sizing guide:
Bike design due to the exclusive rear suspension and shock placement and the short seat tube makes it necessary to be aware on the dropper post length. This chart shows the length of the dropper post that, as maximum, can be lowered with RockShox Reverb Stealth and Fox Transfer internal routing posts as examples.
With a rim inner width of up to 30mm –currently the Dune models are assembled with rims of 27 or 30mm inner width- the biggest tyre that can be set is 27.5x2.5”, which guarantees enough space to clear the mud.
You can fit mostly all in-line type of shocks, except the ones with bigger volume air bodies such as Fox Float X2 or RockShox Vivid Air. There is not compatible with piggy back coil sprung shocks.
The new Foxy has not inner cable routing to host the DI2 shift cables, so if it is installed you have to be careful with the protection of the shift cable, especially below the bottom bracket cage.
The geometry kit is included in Foxy Carbon XR and in Foxy Carbon XR individual frames, and it includes:
1. Steering cups set which include new bearings to adjust the fork angle to +/-1º
2. Set of rear derailleur hangers which enable to change the chainstay length to +/-10mm.
The geometry kits are different depending on the size and it is determined by the head tube. Therefore, each geometry kit is exclusive for each size.
Foxy Carbon is compatible with forks up to 160mm.
It is compatible even with round discs with 34 teeth or 32 teeth if oval.
Foxy Carbon 27.5 is compatible with rear tyres up to 66mm wide, which would match with 27,5x2.6” tyres, but even so it is advisable to measure the tyre before installing it as the actual measure may vary depending on the manufacturer.
The size use differs depending on the user. Personal preferences are very different and what the bike is used for also matter when making this decision. This is a general chart that can be used as a guide:
S 1.58 - 1.68
M 1.67 - 1.76
L 1.75 - 1.86
XL 1.85 - 1.95
It is possible to install a bottle cage in the down tube.
The bicycles are assembled manually in our Mondraker buildings and the technical measures for each bicycle and its programming is also made by us is order to ensure its perfect performance as well as its corresponding standardization. The tyre size, the amount of speeds and teeth of the cogs, etc. is information that is registered in the setting programme of each bike so that it works perfectly and every modification or system upgrade has to be carried out in a Mondraker point of sale.
The battery can be easily removed from the frame using a 5mm hex key to remove the carbon inner tap from the down tube.
Crusher is compatible with 29” wheels, but it depends on the tyre that we use as it can compromise the space between it and the seat stay, especially with mud. It is important to know that the motor is programmed for the preinstalled wheel diameter, so using a different wheel diameter would change the motor performance and the information shown on the display.
Crusher is compatible with DI2 shifts. First, it is necessary to upgrade the motor software to enable the Di2 system to work. The DI2 system installed in e-bikes provokes a higher chain and cassette wear due to the power of the motor. Mondraker does not take responsibility for this premature wear.
Crusher is compatible with forks up to 170mm.
Absolutely none. It is not necessary either to oil any of the parts in the motor, or disassemble it, you only have to take the same care as with a traditional mountain bike. But we do have to mention a preventive measure applicable to any current mountain bike: the electric parts and concretely the motor central movement cannot be cleaned with any kind of machinery with pressure washing, so it is not possible to use high pressure washing directly as it may harm the electric parts in the motor.
Crusher is compatible with all kinds of shocks, with or without deposit, Fox DPS, DPX2, RockShox Deluxe, Super Deluxe. It is not compatible with higher volume air shocks like Fox Float X2 or RockShox Vivid Air, and spring shocks are not compatible either. Crushers is assembled with metric measuring shocks with Trunnion mount, so it does not require upper bushings whereas a 22.2x10mm bottom bushing is used.
This size table is only an estimation, the optimum frame size depends on your personal preference and riding style
