Rain denies Rónán Dunne the chance to fight for victory. 


Mondraker Factory Racing rider Rónán Dunne managed to put in a solid 2nd place qualifying run aboard his Mondraker Summum at Hardline Tasmania before torrential rain forced the cancellation of the finals on Sunday. Oli Clark’s debut in the Mondraker livery saw the Kiwi take home 8th.

Both riders were pleased with their performances, despite missing out on the finals.


“Unfortunately, we couldn’t race as planned because of the weather, so I ended up second.”


said Dunne shortly after stepping onto the podium.

Rónán Dunne and the Summum attacking the 3.4-kilometre course to record a time of 3:17.937 with top speeds of around 80km/h, and Oli Clark’s convincing debut in his first event as a Mondraker Factory Racing rider.

For Mondraker Factory Racing, Hardline Tasmania represented an important step in their preparations for the 2026 World Cup season and an important opportunity to test the Summum on one of the most demanding circuits in the world.
